Is Church Membership Required to Attend St. John's?

St. John's Lutheran School and Preschool is a parochial preschool operated by St. John's Lutheran Church in Caledonia, MN. Enrollment is open to any students who meet the requirements, regardless of church affiliation. However, any family who is not a member of a church in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) must meet with the principal and pastor prior to the start of the school year.

This is done simply to inform the family of the beliefs and teachings that are a part of the St. John's school and preschool curriculum and that will be taught at St. John's. Church membership is not required, but if you are interested in finding a church home at St. John's, the principal and pastor would be more than happy to speak with you about that.
